The first American-made 144-inch composite box van. A vacuum-infused shell on the beloved 144" Sprinter AWD chassis, four-season ready, with a living space designed to reshape around your trip.

Engineering & Technology

An Engineering Masterpiece.

This is the most customizable garage space we've ever engineered.

The Loft is designed to adapt to whatever adventure lies ahead. By day, the elevator bed tucks neatly against the ceiling, opening up a spacious lounge area. When the sun goes down, it lowers into a comfortable queen-size bed, while the lower lounge can quickly transform into a second queen sleeping platform—perfect for families, friends, or extra space on extended journeys.

When your gear list grows, the Loft rises to the occasion. Open or remove the lower cabinet doors to stow your largest pair of powder skis, easily accessed through the side hatches on either side of the vehicle. Heading for the next trail system? Load your bikes through the tall rear hatch and keep them protected from weather, road grime, and curious eyes while traveling between destinations.

For the biggest missions, the rear lounge can be completely reconfigured. Remove part, or all, of the dinette seating to create the garage space of your dreams capable of storing bikes, skis, climbing equipment, and everything else your adventure demands (beer fridge not included).

The Shower Design of the Decade

If you've ever considered a Sprinter 144, you've probably run into the same challenge we did: how do you fit a truly enclosed shower into a smaller van without sacrificing the living space that makes it enjoyable to use? For years, there wasn't a great answer. Then we designed The Rain Room.

Located just inside the side entry door, The Rain Room is a fully enclosed shower that disappears when not in use, preserving valuable living space throughout the rest of the van. In its everyday form, it doubles as a mud room, complete with a teak floor grate that provides the perfect place to kick off muddy boots, ski gear, or wet trail shoes before settling in.

When it's time to clean up, simply step inside and slide the solid door along its curved track, creating a private, watertight space separated from the rest of the interior. Inside, you'll find a dedicated ventilation fan, a slide-out toilet, and, with the optional Infinity Shower package, a shower experience so comfortable you may find yourself lingering a little longer than planned. The result is a shower when you need it, and open living space when you don't—purpose-built for life in a 144.

Engineered for the Trail

These days the roads seem to be getting rougher, and the easy-to-reach campsites are always full. The Loft was built for those who aren't ready to call it a day when the pavement ends. Give a casual wave to the tow-behinds and car campers settling in for the evening as you continue down the road toward the kind of campsites you'll still be talking about years later.

Built to go farther, The Loft maintains, and improves upon, the Mercedes Sprinter's impressive ground clearance and departure angle. Upgraded suspension, all-terrain tires, and super single rear wheels provide the confidence to tackle rough forest roads, desert trails, and the unexpected detours that often lead to the best camps.

The vacuum-infused fiberglass shell keeps weight low where it matters most. The systems, including water tanks and batteries, are strategically positioned beneath the floor to lower the center of gravity and improve stability on uneven terrain and off-camber roads.

Systems

Discover the difference.

Power and Water for an Endless Trip.

All of the Loft's major systems are thoughtfully integrated into the rear hatch compartments, keeping them out of your living space while remaining easy to access when service is needed. By locating batteries, water storage, and mechanical components below floor level, we lower the vehicle's center of gravity for improved handling and stability, while freeing up valuable interior storage for the things that matter most.

The Loft comes equipped with 1,000Ah of lithium battery capacity, 400 watts of solar, a dedicated auxiliary alternator, a 3,000-watt inverter, and 40 gallons of fresh water. In the real world, that means spending days off-grid without changing how you live. Run the air conditioner for approximately 12–18 hours, charge your devices, power the induction cooktop, keep the fridge cold, and enjoy all the comforts of home—without searching for a campground hookup.

Despite the capability packed beneath the floor, living with the system is refreshingly simple. A centralized control interface puts power, water, tank levels, and electrical monitoring at your fingertips.

No seams, no thermal bridging.

The Loft's body is built from a vacuum-infused composite fiberglass shell, creating a single bonded structure rather than a collection of panels screwed and glued together. By pulling resin through the fiberglass layup under vacuum, the result is a stronger, lighter, and more precisely constructed habitat designed to handle years of travel down rough roads.

The benefits become immediately apparent once you're on the road. The seamless shell is lighter and more aerodynamic than traditional panel-built campers, while providing exceptional protection from the elements. Because the habitat eliminates exposed metal seams and sheet-metal exterior surfaces, it dramatically reduces thermal bridging. The result is a quieter, more efficient cabin that remains comfortable in a wider range of conditions.

Whether you wake up to fresh snow in the mountains or the rising heat of a Moab morning, the Loft is engineered to keep the outside where it belongs and the interior comfortable year-round.

Four-Season Comfort

Designed to accompany you on every adventure, regardless of season, the Loft is equally at home beneath the northern lights of Alaska as it is under the desert sun in Moab. Simply set the thermostat and let the vehicle do the rest.

The vacuum-infused fiberglass shell, four-season insulation, and integrated window coverings work together to keep heat where you want it - inside on cold nights and outside on hot afternoons. When temperatures climb, the powerful air conditioning system keeps the desert on the other side of the wall. When winter settles in, a diesel-fired hydronic heating system delivers quiet, even warmth throughout the cabin, including heated floors that make cold mornings far more enjoyable.

Plumbing, water tanks, and critical systems are all located within the insulated interior, protecting them from freezing temperatures and giving you the confidence to keep exploring long after the forecast turns ugly.

One Platform. Endless Possibilities.

The Loft is short on purpose, not small on capability. It takes the favorite 144" wheelbase and gives it the space and luxury it deserves. Click on any photo to view it and scroll through the gallery.
